The foundation’s strategy and approaches
  • The foundation pursues a sound grant-aid policy, applying well-defined selection criteria and following established procedures and evaluation processes.
  • Where required to obtain optimal results and maximum impact, the foundation will frequently opt to work in close cooperation with other (Dutch and foreign or international) foundations, such as the Bernard van Leer FoundationFonds 1818The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute .
  • The foundation Levi Lassen values its alliance with the association of Foundations in the Netherlands (FIN).
  • The foundation is member of the European Foundation Centre (EFC ).
  • The foundation is member of the Westbury Group, which is a forum of mainly European foundations which have a special interest in Israeli grant making.
  • The foundation participates in bi-annual “Haagse Fondsen Overleg (HAFO) meetings", HAFO being an important mechanism for promoting consultation and collaboration among The Hague-based funds and foundations. At the meetings new participants present their organisation; existing and new projects are presented and discussed.
